I get too emotionally attached to adverts, marketing strategies, technology and research, social media, food and food packaging, copy, logos, typography, colour choices, package designs and attention to detail. I also use words like "aesthetically pleasing" and "form follows function" whenever possible.
I never get tired linking things to the teachings of the Bauhaus (IKEA shopping always becomes art theory class) and Dieter Rams and Edward Bernays will always be on the list of "People you would like to invite to a dinner party"
Im fascinated by Psychology (Sigmund Freud, Gustave Le Bon and Wilfred Trotter) and its connection to Advertising and Marketing.
I am simply using this blog to post my thoughts on other people’s work and finding's, share a bit of my work, new media, old media, fashion, travel, my interests and hobbies, technology, marketing campaigns and PR, what’s new and happening in the advertising and graphic design world, logo’s, branding, colour’s, culture, politics, Apple (not the fruit, the sexy beast of a machine!) and Blackberry. Also to network and interact with like minded people.
